Re-presentation: Kate Chopin’s The Story of an Hour (4.1)

By Megan Cross – The University of Findlay

Transcript
Textual Description

This project was created for David Essinger’s ENGL206 E-Literature and Writing course at The University of Findlay. In this assignment, students were asked to select a piece of print literature and then manipulate or re-present the work using digital media. Cross has taken up Kate Chopin’s “The Story of an Hour” and reworked it using PowerPoint. In this project, the original story has been streamlined, and rather than leaving the ambiguity of the story intact, Cross re-presents a particular telling.
