Transcript
This project displays MRI images of a knee injury alongside a narrative of two traumatic experiences of the author–a house fire and a sports-related knee injury. The author draws on the experience of a spelling bee to frame the project–focusing on the convention of defining a term for a speller–and connecting the depicted experiences to the definition of trauma.
